Has anyone thought to run a Castlevania campaign (besides me) using the new UA rules? For instance, make a Belmont Bloodline, have the Vampire Killer be a Legendary Weapon tied to the Battle Scion class, and maybe some of the Belmonts (depending on how powerful they are) start off as Paragons. There are other optional rules you can use (such as the Vampire Bloodline for Alucard [if he's in your campaign], etc...), but I thought I'd throw it out there to see what you all have thought.

And yes, I have done all of the above stuff (still needs some tweeking, though. ;) ) Suggestions are welcome.

I always thought that the belmonts were Lasher/Kensai with the oath "To hunt vampires, especially Dracula"

But I like your ideas...I'd like to see them more fleshed out.

I don't really think the Belmont bloodline matters, beyond maybe having vampires count as a +1 favored enemy for them in exchange for the bonus skills humans get.

Yep, the mighty whip Vampire-Killer would surely be a legendary weapon. Not sure of its stats, but it would probably require bloodline descent from the Belmont Family in order to take levels in its Battle Scion class...

I am just wondering what kind of way would be best to describe the main bloodline of spellcasters of the series (forget the family name) that often helps the Belmonts. Sorcerer might work, but the fact that they can summon up magic missles at will somewhat defeats that...
