To save time and effort I will use 2 races, race "x" race "Y" and race "Z" Lets say race X gives you +2 wisdom and +2 intelligence, this race would probably give you a LA of +1. Now race Y lets say gives you +2 strength +2 intelligence and + 2 constitution. This would at least have an LA of +2. And race Z we'll say gives no particular ability adjustments, and has an LA of +0. So essentially, Z cost 0 levels or can start at level 1 . x cost 1 level and can start at level 2, Y cost 2 levels and starts at level 3. so essentially for every +2 on an ability after that gives an LA from what I've seen (for the most part) But this means that for race X you lose essentially 1000 exp of leveling up due to 1 level loosed, however with race Y which just has +2 more strength, you have to spend 2000 more experience to gain it. So that means that you are spending 2000 experience, maybe a caster level, maybe a cap ability on just gaining 1 on attack and damage. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but would it not be more sensible to say for every LA you have, you can spend 1000 experience to Negate. Example, La of 8, would cost 8000 experience to get rid of, and LA of 4 would cost 4000. |
