Class Builds on a point buy system [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-09-07, 02:01 PM Beside using the 3 (Blank calsses in UA) Expert, Caster, Brick (Fighter) is there any other way to design classes, preferably on a point buy system similar to Big Eyes Small Mouth D20? A norm character class 20lv PC can be made at 200 points. Is there something similar to this now or may be in 4.0?

02-10-07, 05:29 PM There have been a couple of point-based character creation systems posted on these boards: Haldrik's Paragon class (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=205053)and Crave's UberGenerics system. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=282481).

Officially, though, the closest variant is Unearthed Arcana's generic class variant.
