First some background... Our game group is used to playing a D20 Modern Variant using Vitality Points, and armor as DR ala Star Wars RcR and were looking to integrate these systems into DnD however we are unsatisfied with the Class Defense Bonus as laid out in Unearthed Arcana since it assumes no armor at all. We'd prefer something more akin to the D20 Modern set up and I was wondering if anyone has done a conversion and tested it. One of our players brought up the question of Touch AC as well, since his character build is dependant on attacking Touch AC and the fact that Class Defense in D20 modern is like a Dexterity Bonus since losing it in D20 modern is a great detriment. Does anyone have any suggestions?
