When you do this, what is the max enchantment bonus a weapon can have? +5? +10(+5 for strike, +5 for abilities)

I'm looking at a weapon that has a full +5 enchantment bonus, and +5 in other abilities. (Keen + Brilliant Energy)

Is this legal or do I have to select feats or abilities insteadfor the weapon to grant to the user?

Basically, can I put +5 strike bonus and +5 ability bonus into a Legendary Weapon or can I only put in +5 strike bonus and feats and user affecting abilities?

Well, as I look at the examples in the UA, it seems that all of the weapons start with a +1 or +2 enhancement bonus (+3 if it's really powerful, p.162) and a simple special ability, which doesn't have to be a standard special ability. Then the character gets to use more abilities because of his Scion levels. Some of these abilities are ones that are found on other magic items, and some are specific to that weapon alone. I really don't think that there is a limit to the enhancement bonus of a weapon, though I'd think you'd probably want to keep it within the general range of a +10 weapon, and the more powerful the abilities the weapon grants, the stricter the prereqs.

Of course, if you make a Legendary weapon that is just a +5 keen brilliant longsword, you might as well just buy one and not take levels in the Battle Scion PrC.

Good luck with designing your weapon though.

If you were to allow the Scion to become epic (which I greatly enjoy), the weapon's enhancements would increase even more
