So my friend and I are running different campaigns in different parts of the same world being played by the same friends. In his game I'm playing Jack, a level one domain wizard (yeah my DM rocks). In my game (the original game), the players are soon going to run across a level 12 character named Jack Traveler from the future who will take the party on a their first time travel odyssey.

Long story short, I wan't to design a new Wizard Domain thats not too overpowered. I was thinking of using the cleric version of the time domain from forgotton realms but it needs to be adjusted.

I'm stuck. I cannot stop metagaming. Everytime a put together a list its like I'm either putting together a list of my favorite spells or I'm underpowering myself.

So with regards to the spells in the domain. Time is a very broad subject. Time and Space is an even bigger concept. I thought it best to eliminate ye olde time and space idea from the equation, focussing solely on time.

Here is my idea its basically the Forgotton Realms cleric domain of the same name.

Time Domain
0 Daze
1 True Strike
2 Celerity, Lesser
3 Haste
4 Celerity
5 Spell Matrix, Lesser
6 Contingency
7 Moment Prescience
8 Foresight
9 Time Stop

Obviously, the granted power gets dropped and replaced with a level zero spell. I went with Daze for the level zero because it prevents an action. I couldn't find any cantrips that are even remotely time related. I thought it best to remove gentle repose and permancy from the list because even though both spells are effective for a cleric they arefor the most part useless on an every day basis for a wizard.

Anyway, I'd like to know if this is an okay list for a new wizard domain. Should I make any changes?
