| DM Zoc02-04-05, 04:54 PM | What's the question? If it's whether you can use LA buyoff to get rid of the level adjustment for playing a dragon, then the answer is yes (though most dragons have an LA so large that they'd need to be epic before paying it off). |
| gbnogkfs02-04-05, 07:25 PM | No, the real question is: how can you couple the rules for playing dragons found in the Draconomicon (which allow you to advance with normal class levels before the monster progression is... "over", and take each monster level only after a set number of years pass, and you really never actually "complete" the monster progression), with the rules for LA buyoff (which presume you have finished your monster progression and stopped accumulating Level Adjustment)? OF COURSE, that's in theory (i.e. just for fun to know), as I'm not really planning a 70th level dragon campaign... |
