| FenixZero03-24-04, 02:02 PM | I came up with what I think is a good epic progession for the Gold Dragon Bloodline. 21. +1 to Cha 22. Breath Weapon 2/day (Ex) 23. Gold Dragon Affinity +8 24. +1 Natural Armor 25. +2 to Diplomacy 26. Sunburst 1/day (Sp) 27. +1 to Wis 28. Breath Weapon 3/day (Ex) 29. Gold Dragon Affinity +10 30. +1 Natural Armor Is this good? What changes would you make? And what caster level should Sunburst be at? The breath is the same power (I think it is 6d8) and useful once every 1d4 rounds in combat. FenixZero |

My guess would be for the ones in the book (and mine) CL from any spell casting class + 1/2 class levels from noncasters + Bloodline levels or maybe character level + bloodline level? Does that seem good? FenixZero |

Back to your point, though, I don't know if I like the idea of extending bloodlines into Epic. I mean, the benefits you gain by then are really small, but it's still giving a large bonus to bloodlines than are given by templates. I prefer to think that what they give you is what you take. As for what you present, it seems balanced to me. A logical progression, most definitely. Now I have a question. Do minor and Intermediate Bloodlines continue progressing in Epic Levels? Does a Minor Gold Dragon bloodline get Waterbreathing at level 40 and Fire Immunity at level 80? |
