| Mandragore09-22-06, 03:00 AM | Hi all... What should be the fractional BAB of a Dweomerkeeper ? or a Wearer of purple ? Many thanks. |
| IceFractal09-22-06, 04:32 AM | I don't know about Wearer of Purple, but the Dweomerkeeper appears to have standard 1/2 BAB. |
| gbnogkfs09-22-06, 10:13 AM | all the WotC-published classes use standard progressions. Look at the BAB given at 3rd level: +3: you're looking at a good BAB class (+1 per level) +2: you're looking at a medium BAB class (+3/4 per level) +1: you're looking at a poor BAB class (+1/2 per level) +0: you're looking at page 23 of the Miniatures Handbook the only class in the game that does not advance BAB (+0 per level):D |
| Jodjod09-25-06, 01:58 AM | I think you meant look at 4th level. +4=Good BAB +3=Average BAB +2=Poor BAB +0=The most nonsensical class. Ever. |
| strenoth09-25-06, 04:29 AM | Actually, both work. Every BaB progression (except +0 ... ) gets a +1 boost going from third level to 4th level, and all of them can be measured in 4th-fractions (+1 = +4/4ths, 1/2 = 2/4, and 3/4 =, well, 3/4 ) |
| gbnogkfs09-25-06, 01:50 PM | both work, but mine works best, because not every class has a 4th level :D |
| Darth Sephiroth09-25-06, 02:04 PM | Well the Warhulk gains a +2 Str at each level if I remember right which balances it out somewhat, I houseruled it to grant 1/2 BAB as well just to make it work. |
| Pellanor09-26-06, 03:52 PM | The Survivor from Savage Species also has no Base Attack Bonus advancment. There's also a few classes where there's typos for their BAB, which causes it to look like they have a nonstandard advancement. edit: The warhulk doesn't need the BAB! it's brutal enough as is. |
