I'm talking about the +9 saves over 20 you see everyone in awhile, Star Wars is full of them but the Prestige Ranger on the previous page (73) is also an example...

Anyhow what the beginning and the step for one of these saves? I can’t figure it out to save the life of me… . Can one of you math genius help me out?

It's a strong save, 2+(lvl/2).
It just only goes out to level 15.

Btw, subtract the bonus you get on level 1 and then divide each entry with the level, and that will get you an approximation to the fractional bonus.
Simple, right?

No its not... A "medium" save like the fringer gives is +7 at 15th level and a +9 at 20th.

Anyhow, for those looking for the answer its 1 2/5 at first level and 2/5 each level their after.

I'm looking at UA now, and it says +9 at level 15 for Prestige Ranger (the prestige ranger's highest level).
I'm not saying anything about Star Wars, but the UA Prestige Ranger uses a strong save.

Ahh that explains the confusion.... Theirs a few classes out their for D&D and even more for Star Wars, which is why I pulled it down for an example, that give a +9 to the save over 20 levels and that's what I was trying to figure out. :D

That would be the Medium save progession, and all your answers are right here:
