goawayugh 10-26-06, 01:45 PM	If i'm making a gestalt character with a level adjustment, does only the class levels get to be gestalt, or do I get to pick a class level for each LA also. Example: a 3rd level char. with a +2LA. would he be Wiz 1/Ftr 1 or Wiz 3/Ftr 1
starfire311 10-26-06, 07:56 PM	I have seen it played both waysletting it gestalt and not letting it gestalt, the big penalty behind the LA has always been the lack of HD, so by letting it gestalt really negates the penalty of LA... one suggestion could be to allow for the gestalt sort of... let them get the special abilities from the class, but dont give HD for it.
Nebo 10-26-06, 10:08 PM	LA/LA Class/Class Class/LA Class/LA Those are your options. Like starfire said, the first one is probably the most fair since you still get a HD penalty.
Arisen_Demon 10-30-06, 10:54 AM	I'd (as a DM) rule that the Gestalt LA = sqrt(original LA) rounded up. I also rule all Gestalt CR = sqrt(original CR) Its my way of playing Gestalt. hope it helps
