It occured to me earlier, that gestalt is a lot like old-school multiclassing, if you jsut add in an XP adjustment. I know there was alogn thread before abotu how gestalts in a non-gestalt enviroment should have either an XP chart that's 50% higher (ie, 1500 Xp to get to second level, 4,500 to get to third, etc) or 33% XP penalty. Mathmaticlly they come out the same, but the XP penalty person is hurt worse if they spend or loose XP, as they need to work hard to get that same amount of XP back. just throwing that out there... |
| taltamir12-27-04, 02:27 AM | I would like to try out a thing where you just split your XP between your classes, and each class has its own progression... This way, being an experience fight, doesnt make it 20 times as hard to learn magic. How to do it without totally breaking the game is TRICKY, especially with HP. HP are the biggest issue there. |
