Vengeblade 09-29-05, 10:35 PM	Okay, here's my though. Let's say you have a wizard/ rogue gestalt character who qualifies for the archmage class and takes it in place of gaining rogue levels. at 20th level he's a wizard20/rogue15/archamge5. I don't remember the rules saying anythign about this, so would he end up as a 25th level caster at 20th leve or am I missing something?
strenoth 09-29-05, 10:48 PM	you missed the rules saying that when ever the same ability (in this case caster levels) is gained by both classes, you only take the better progression fo the two (in this case, both classes gain +1 caster level)
