| aldymnor02-24-04, 07:11 AM | There are already a lot of gestalt threads for this, just so you know. The book specifically says that no gestalt is really two times as powerful as a regular character. And no two gestalts are really the same in power. I listed one time the example of fighter/barbarian. If we treat it like a barbarian, all they get better is eleven bonus feats by the level 20. If we take a fighter, cleric; much bigger picture. Let's treat it like a cleric. Suddenly their BaB, skills, feats, and hit points improve. See? It's just hard as hell to give a static, flat modifier to every gestalt in the game. Some of my favorite combinations are wizard/cleric, fighter/cleric, and monk/sorcerer. |

And a fighter12/kensai10|Wu jen 22? |
