For a monk/druid what monk abilities would be kept in wild shape (if any)?

I believe you would retain all of them since they are from class features and not your race.

You would then do a Flurry of Blows with your new form's natural weapons... Hmm...

I guess the same holds true for a druid/psion who can manifest powers in wildshape form...

Well then my PCs plan for the ultimate speed fighter (air elemental with monks fast movement) is viable. hmm... he will find this news exciting and I will need to find a away to keep an Air Elemental with Fly Speed 190 still long enough to kill it. Shudders.

A Monk/Druid with Dragon Wildshape will outdo that the moment they get that feat: a Gold Wyrmling already flies at 200ft per round.

Thank you very much he saw that now he has more ideas but i dodged a bullet with monk's unarmored speed applies to one movement type since he originally moved by foot thats the one that gets the bonus unless he losses his land speed (That's why i gave in to elemental their only listed movement is fly)

no, a Monk's speed bonus applies to *speed* . not "one movement type" or anything, and thus applies to all movement types.

oh, but do not, w/ flurry of blow whiel wildshaped, the flurry would all be with unarmed strike damage. Then you coudl follow up with your natural weapons (all at BaB-5 and 1/2 str bonus), and receive an additional -2 penalty to attack because of having flurried. Your unarmed strike is not a secondary natural weapon, so you can NOT do it the other way around.

You might want to remember that unarmed strikes have never mention anything about them having to be made with hands feet knees elbows or even your head. And a back hand will do as much damage as a punch to the face.

So turn yourself into a raptor and do kung fu how ever you like.

gestalt druid/monk then multiclass a gestalt psion/any other psionic class. Then have fun.

As another poster mentioned, a natural weapon isn't a special monk weapon, and cannot be used as part of a flurry of blows. If you flurry, those attacks must all be with an unarmed strike, a kama, or any of the weapons as described by the Monk's class entry in the PHB. In addition to your iterative attacks (whether flurrying or not) you generally can use your natural weapons at BAB-5 and no more than 1/2 str bonus to damage. However, some people rule that flurry can not be combined with natural attacks, even if the natural attacks are "tacked on" as opposed to being a part of the flurry.

They should keep all their monk abilities including the Unarmed Strike being done with any body part, so you can use them along with the natural attacks that you get when wild shaped.

You also can cast Magic fang, Superior and have it affect you unarmed strike and other natural attacks. :mymy:

By the way, you would have to lawful neutral to pull this off without house ruling.
