06-13-07, 09:05 AM How does a gestalt build work with a non-caster like Warlock or Dragon Fire Adept and PrC's that give +1 to caster level in a previously held class?

06-13-07, 09:30 AM Warlock class doesn't deal with +1caster level to previous classes.. so I'm not sure what you meant by that.

As to how it applies to PRC's- You would have to apply the level bonus to one of your caster levels.

(so that if you were Wizard15/fighter5//Sorceror19/archmage1

you would have to choose where to stick that +1 from archmage., either in Wizard or Sorceror.

I have a player wanting to stack Dragon Fire Adept with Wild Mage PrC..

Will the wild mages "+1 to an existing arcane spellcasting class" add to -in any way- his dragonfire adept powers, such as invocations known?

As the DM though-
if you want it to, then yes.
if you don't, then no.

(i Know there is a real answer out there.. I just dunno what it is. the Warlock entry in the book that created it, goes into it.. i'm just not at my books atm)

The Complete Arcana covered this. A warlock can benifit from +1 caster level PrC.

06-14-07, 06:21 PM Warlocks gain a bonus to their caster level and invocations known from prestige classes that give "+1 to existing spellcasting class." Eldritch blast does not increase, however.

Check out page 18 of the Complete Arcana. They DO gain increased Eldritch Blast damage.
