03-16-04, 08:11 AM I probably wouldn't allow it. Gestalting is kind of like multiclassing on crack, and since you can't multiclass with variants, I'd rule you can't Gestalt with variants.

03-16-04, 08:42 AM Actually, you can multiclass with variants. It's an optional rule (as everything else is). The example they give is of a halfling rogue/wilderness rogue; you only treat the first variant you take as a favored class, so adding sorcerer or something might draw EXP penalties in this example.
