GEEKAZOID 01-07-07, 02:56 PM	Has anybody tried this? I like the idea. I think it may be a great way to offer something back to players when using the 25 point buy method.

My group was used to very high stats for a long time, well it was my turn to DM and I wanted to run a published adventure, so I told them to make a 25 point buy character and have it finalized for the game. Of course they groaned about 25 points, in fact I didn't hear the end of it the entire week, but anyways when it came time to start I told them to gestalt their racial paragon class to their regular class, a pleasant surprise. The reason I did not tell them in advance is because I didn't want them planning their entire character around the abilities the paragons grant, instead they were to be little bonuses to make life easier. It worked great and didn't overpower them at all. So i'd say go for it.
