| strenoth09-01-07, 11:06 AM | A Cohort would count as a major NPC, so I would suggest yes (as all BBEGs and NPC heroes should be in a gestalt game) And again, i would go with yes. Even people who don't let LA get gestalted should allow this one, given how weak the blood lines are compared to the power you can get from the same number of LA levels. |
| goawayugh09-04-07, 01:37 PM | It depends on how your DM is having the rest of the world be gestalt too. I am running a game right now where the two PC's are both gestalt. But, it is only by accident (a botched resurrection by an apprentice trying to impress his master) that two souls ended up in the same body. So, in this game it is EXTREMELY rare for gestalt characters to exist (of course the BBEG is one, not to mention the apprentice's master). |
