I've been working on the classes lately, making a few minor adjustments and I'd like to give something extra to the fighter. I was considering the idea of them gaining a bonus to their attributes (str, dex and con anyway) at various levels.

What do people think? What progression would you use?

This is similar to what I do, but a bit different. I give my fighter an ability a bit like rage, but you choose where the bonuses go and it's only for con, str, or dex. For what your doing, might work, but let them choose.

Interesting idea, I like it.

I posted it on the fourth page of the Post your houserules thread or something like that. It's a solid progression, and gives a reason to take Fighter 20.

You mean fighter class or all martial classes?

Either way, just become a dragon disciple.

I would review the "Pathfinder" Alpha release. I love the new fighter they suggest there.
