Has anyone tried the alternate barbarians? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-21-04, 01:46 AM As per the title. What were your experiences with them? Were they cool, or blah? Which one did you try, and which lost trait hurt the most? Alternately, which gained trait turned out to be the most useful? And overall, would you recommend their use, or not?

12-22-04, 10:24 PM Yes and I like the Whirling Frenzy option. In our current campaign my Dwarf Bar 3/ Ftr 10 has the Whirling Frenzy and found it very balanceing in comparison with the normal Rage.

12-24-04, 05:36 PM I played a Boar Totem Barbarian while my friend played as a standard Barbarian. It was fun, and we were both obviously meat tanks. It went well. I'm wanting to try playing as some of the other varient Barbarians to see how they stack up.
