| Riznar07-22-04, 02:42 PM | I don't have the book on me, but it is in the classes chapter. It turns the normal 11 base classes into 55 base classes. It offers insane customizability and is a sort of "epic light". |

You take the best numerical stats of each (so a Fighter/Rogue would have d10 Hit Die, the fighter's 1:1 Base Attack Bonus, good Fortitude and Reflex saves, and 8+INT Mod skill points per level), and the class features of both (so said Ftr/Rog would have a full Sneak Attack progression as well as the fighter bonus feat progression, amongst all the other little roguey things) It is important to note that Gestalting is not a normal character option. It is a *campaign* option. Either everybody with class levels (including monsters with class levels) is a gestalt, or nobody is. You can't play a random singular gestalt in a game of regular characters, for it will be broken beyond words. |
