| Oneiros03-16-06, 09:02 PM | You mean the Unearthed Arcana system? |
| Archangel6203-16-06, 11:58 PM | yep, I tried working it out with friends and it doesn't seem to run off of anything like max spells castable so we're trying to work it out right now. |

Find the breakdown of spell points available per level. The total number should roughly breakdown to the same number of spells per day using the standard rules. That is, if a Level 3 wizard can cast 4 cantrips, 2 1st Level spells, and 1 2nd Level spell, the spell point breakdown should allow them to cast the same number of spells. Essentially you get X spell points per spell per day of a given level. Apply that number to the partial casting progression of the PrC in question. It should work. I'll check this when I get home tomorrow morning... |

The PP chart is in the SRD (here (http://srd.pbemnexus.com/psionicPsion.html)). Manifesting powers uses power points according to the following chart: Level ........ Points 1 ............. 1 2 ............. 3 3 ............. 5 4 ............. 7 5 ............. 9 6 ............. 11 7 ............. 13 8 ............. 15 9 ............. 17 Tweaking arcane casting to follow the same rules wouldn't take much work at all. Tweaking the magic points available to various prestige classes may take a bit more work, but you could just use the values from the first few wizard levels. Ferinstance, a Level 2 Assassin would have the same number of magic points as a Level 1 wizard. The numbers aren't exact, but it gives you a place to start playtesting. |
