Hex Grid Size [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-04-06, 09:37 AM I would like to use the Hex Grid system from Unearthed Arcana, however it does not state the size of the hexes to make them apropriate for D&D miniture use. Does anyone know what the side length of hexes should be?

11-04-06, 11:54 AM I'd say 1" across (I think it's measured across, not along the side) is right. You can get 'battlemats' that are noted as 1" or 1.5" sizes.
