OzyBurrfoot 10-20-05, 12:16 PM	I'm fond of the Hexblade thematically, but I'd really like to see a revamp so they get better spellcasting. I was thinking of dropping their hit die one size, dropping their BAB to 3/4 progression. And maybe even lowering their skill points a degree. With these changes, what do you all think would be an appropriate balance to adjust their spellcasting up? Side Note: How do you all feel about a feat to allow more Cursings per day? In the past I've given two extra curses per feat slot. I did that to balance with the Extra Smite, and Extra Rage feats.

Blaque 10-25-05, 06:12 PM	Personally, I think to go at Hexblade is not as an arcane caster that fights, but a fighter-type that happens to use arcane spells. If that makes nay sense. I think there are a couple htings overall tha tmight help though. Good Fort save was soemthing I always thought'd help. Or atleast making Arcane Resistance atleast as good as Divine Grace (I thinkt hat's the Paladin thing). The fact that the Charisma-to-Saves is more limited feels weird ot me. Allowing the bonus feats to be things like improved famliar, and feats fighters usually can take would be nice too. Those are the two main things. I personally think its pretty neat. Its a way to be an exotic fighter I think, not to be a new sort of caster. The real battlemages are battle sorcerers, IMHO. Stuff.
