| Alhadis11-04-04, 10:40 PM | G’day, people. ^^’ What I’m about to share with y’all is an interesting house rule I thought of while watching Van Helsing (damn, that was an awesome film!). See, if blessed water can harm undead and evil outsiders, I wondered what blessed flammable liquids could do when burning undead. ;) So I thought of this; any undead exposed to a fire fuelled by a blessed flammable substance (like chlorine, etc) suffers half divine damage, half fire damage. Like Flame strike, half of the damage can affect even creatures that are resistant/immune to fire. Similarly, if the duration of the bless spell expires whilst the fire’s still burning, it resumes inflicting ordinary fire damage. Optionally, you could have the damage entirely converted to Divine damage, but I thought that might be a little too overpowering, especially when using it against opponents that are highly resistant to fire. ^_~; What do you all think? - Alhadis! *^-^* PS: Please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong forum; I've been away too long, so I might've missed a thing or two about what to post in all these kewl new boards. ^^' |
