Honor codes [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-31-04, 09:36 PM I know that UA has a few codes of honor, but I was wondering if anyone else has some alternate codes from real world sources, such as the pirate's code, the code of the knights of the garter, that sort of thing.

08-11-04, 12:33 AM There are a number of medieval and ancient sources to get codes of honor from. The Knights of the Temple are a good medieval example, but ancient societies are a good source as well. Look to some of the ancient Greek city-states for inspiration, good examples include the Spartans and the Thebans. Modern sources aren't too shabby either, the Ranger Creed certainly comes to mind.
