srkingdavy 02-25-05, 10:35 AM	well, not a lot to explain. it's all in the title. Wizards can only cast spells from scrolls they have personally scribed. wizards can "burn" spellbook pages if they need a spell in an emergency. Cost to copy foreign spells into a spellbook are the same as scribe scroll. can anyone think of anything overpowering about this idea I may have overlooked?
HailSpork 02-25-05, 04:06 PM	Doesn't copying a spell from a scroll use up the scroll? Because that would make it a lot more difficult to gather spells. You can't "trade spells" anymore (which wasn't even that effective because it takes up a day each). Personally, I always thought this rule kind of nerfed wizards; if an npc stole their book, they could recover it. Now, if an npc steals their book, it may be scatterred or used up.
