How Do Spell Points Work? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-27-04, 07:43 PM Can anyone give me a brief explanation of how spell points work? I would assume it is something like psionic power points. What are the specifics? And does anyone use the variant?

10-28-04, 12:13 AM Pretty much. Instead of having spell slots, a person would have a spell point total. Every spell has a spell point cost, based off of spell level. You can use any combination of spells, provided you can pay the costs.

I can't remember the exact specifics, but that's the synopsis.
