| awaken_D_M_golem03-07-07, 08:09 PM | DMG 3.0 had apprentice rules. Fairly simple to use and/or understand. So , are the apprentice rules totally gone ? Do the zero level rules replace in a 'reasonable' way ? How do they work anyway ? I might have to upgrade to 3.5 ... eventually ... |
| Fafnir03-09-07, 10:11 AM | They're gone... but I still use them if needed. I simply Copy/Pasted them into 3.5. |
| awaken_D_M_golem03-11-07, 02:06 PM | thanks for posting Fafnir. Yeah , that's what I do. I haven't had access to UA , and the Srd doesn't have that part of UA. I'm just wondering what the Zero-level classes do. I mean , cutting in half a first level class , and putting the 'lesser' stuff first , is easy. Certainly , a 1/1 character at 2nd level can't be that broken , nor a 1/2 semi-good stuff + 1/2 lesser stuff combo. I'm also curious that the Apprentice rules were not over-writen , just mystically disappeared. :plotting: is the right smiley , iff only the first half of it ;) |

However, I don't think I'll ever use it, I tend to run campaigns that focus very little on how characters advance in power and much more on relationships and wealth. |
