I'm not really sure if this will make combats more deadly or longer, but it would definitely make some game aspects easier. For example, if you loose 2 Con points, you don't have to adjust your HP, after all Constitution does not affect them. Opinions? |
| DM Zoc04-25-05, 05:15 AM | That's certainly one way of doing it, but it might end up making the barbarian invincible for three levels or so. I thought the "simple solution" was to use your Constitution as your hit points per level, which is very simple and has the side effect of making combat last longer. |
| HailSpork04-25-05, 09:21 AM | Hmm... what if con bonus converted damage to nonlethal? For example, I have a 16 con and I get hit for 10 damage: I take 3 nonlethal and 7 lethal... |
| NineInchNall04-26-05, 05:29 PM | Now that's not really that simple, then, is it? Every time I get hit I have to keep track of both lethal and subdual damage? I hate subdual damage! |
| J Milburn04-30-05, 08:35 AM | That non lethal damage idea is awesome! That will really need some thought, i think nonlethal damage is underb used. For now i think ill stick with the generic 'official' method for now. And zoc? that overpowers casters even more. AVOID DOING AT ALL COSTS! |
