| grig05-07-06, 09:52 PM | I need a new race that would work in Faerun. Any suggestions? |
| Maraxus05-08-06, 09:20 AM | Smurfs? ... at least Handy would work, Lazy would probably lie around all the time and work no more than one hour a week - maybe two in Fearun, where the week has 10 days. (or in other words: You should be a little more precise) |
| Izodor_Shadowcaster05-08-06, 10:39 AM | I thin everything would fit in a campaign if you change the story a bit. You could even use Warforged (Eberron) in your Faerun campaign. I like the Extaminaar from Champions of Ruin if you want to know which race we like from the Faerun campaign. |
| Millennium05-08-06, 05:10 PM | That depends on your definition of "what works in Faerun". What do you need this race for? |
| Hochiu05-09-06, 01:29 AM | Gods. Just go ahead and put gods in your FR campaign as a player race. They'll need to be one if they want to do anything in the world anyway *scowl*. |
| Findail05-09-06, 09:06 AM | There's a whole section on Races (http://boards.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=18). What sort of race do you want? I'm rather fond of the Skraal (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=343784), but of course I'm rather biased! At least there's a good reason why most folks don't know much about them (considering where they live: they're a sort of super-Inuit for arctic regions). This is something you need to consider when introducing a new race into an existing setting: if they live among the regular races, why haven't they made their own mark on history already? |
