im a noob help me out! [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-24-06, 11:25 PM First tip: Improve your spelling and punctuation. It goes a long way on the boards.

2nd: Find people in your area to play with, either by using the RPG Classified (heard it works, haven't tried it myself), or just asking people. If no one in your area plays, teach them and get a group going.

If all else fails here, there are PBEM and PBPs online (i know plothook.net is a pretty good PBP, but others exist).

To stop being such a "noob" just make sure that you read at least all of the core rulebooks (PHB, MM, and DMG) and make sure you read it enough to understand it without constantly checking. Front to back. Maybe even twice. It'll go an even longer way than the spelling and punctuation.

EDIT: Also, I noticed you posted within 5 minutes of each other. Chill man, give it some time to be read and get responses. If you end up with like 300 views after a couple days and 0 replies, then yes, people hate you. But not in 5 minutes...
