| weasel fierce08-23-05, 12:34 PM | I dont really like to have rules for such things, but you could always handle it as a skill sort of thing. Just allocate a different pool of points to spend purely on influences. |
| TheErsatzFacsimileOfMe08-23-05, 09:25 PM | Generally, the more well know the expliots of my PCs (as a DM) the more and more people (commoners, travelers working up to minor nobility then out to the empires) is gained. Generally, it is tied to level,..but thats not a set in stone system. If a lvl 2 Fighter figures out how to stop a portal from spewing demons and finishes the rest off...people will know what he's done. Conversely, a wizard who has spent the last 70 years locked away in a remote tower researching and practicing new and rare spells...he's likely to be known or known of by the most worldly of wizards....but probably not your average commoner or duke. |
