I was thinking about using weapon knockback rules for large weapons. It's still in the conceptual stage so I was wondering if anyone has used any knockback rules before.

I have been thinking something like this for Spells that make a big explosion too (like Fireball). But maybe instead of knocking back it will just knock them prone. Look in CA, it has a special weapon ability that on a failed save knocks them back 5ft. You may want to check it out.

You might as well check back on CA: there is a metamagic feat there called Explosive Spell if my memory serves right.
