| Draegun Fury08-28-06, 09:03 AM | Hey, I've been trying to find away for PCs to take a feat/class in order to play as nobility. One of my players suggested making Leadership available at first level, and using Followers to generate wealth (in other words, feudalism). My question is, would allowing Leadership to be taken at 1st level unbalance the game? (Note: Most PC won't be able to gain followers until 3rd level anyway) I tend to think any unbalance would be smoothed out by level six when a PC could otherwise take Leadership. What's your thoughts on the matter? Cheers. PS: Any other ideas for a balanced way to play as nobility would be appreciated too. (NOTE: I am told there is an Eberon Feat that gives a Warforged Adamantine Fullplate at 1st level. Since Adamantine Fullplate is worth 16,150gp, and (in this case) it can't be stolen/ruined, I have ruled that a Feat can = 20,000gp*The level it was taken. So a Wealth Feat (or Inheiritance Feat) taken a 10th level would be worth 200,000gp, and one taken at 20th would be worth 400,000gp). Any thoughts? |

What about a Feat that grants 20,000gp (based of the Warforged Adamantine body feat from Eberon)? Seem fair? Balanced? Too strong at low? Too weak at high? Either/or? Cheers. |

Maybe more, maybe less, depends on the economy of the game at hand as to how out of balance it would be. Or as a skill it could payout on level up at skill total x 100 or 1000 again depending on game economy. Jack |

| OneWinged4ngel08-30-06, 05:02 AM | Ye gods, must you mention that book? So... messed up... (Also 3.0) A feat that gives cash might be okay though, to represent the wealth gained from nobility or whatever. |
