04-11-07, 04:30 PM ~Ok, somewhere i saw that there was a variant someone used to gain less gold and get more feats and abilitiy boosts. I know its somewhere but i simply cannot find it. It frustrates me quite a bit.

It’s You, Not Your Gear: Treasure is reduced 10-15% and permanent ability score boosting items are banned. Instead, characters get a stat increase at every even level (instead of every four levels) and a feat at every odd level.

From "Delevopement doesn't like much, part II" in the Design and Developement articles. Is that what you were looking for?
