| Travis_UI06-13-06, 06:44 PM | Does anyone know of a viable method for applying the level adjustment buy-down rules from UA for a gestalt character with an adjustment of +2 or higher? So if you had something like: monster class HD/core class monster class LA/core class monster class HD/core class monster class LA/core class core class/core class core class/core class - 6 class levels would allow for buy-down at this point, but I'm not exactly sure how that would work, since it would seem to unbalance the gestalt progression. Suggestions or observations? Thanks! |
| Neratos06-13-06, 07:01 PM | well from the gestalt game i play in, and i helped with this problem. Basically Gestalt is Class/Class If your playing amonsterous race, LA take up one side of the gestalt character. if you have HD, the racial HD ocuppies both sides of the gestalt. So if you have 6HD a +5 LA, a Gestalt version would have 6 racial HD and 5 class lvls in one class at lvl 11. or if you have a LA +8 at lvl 11 you would have 11 lvls in one class and 3 in another. This worked out so that monster classes didn't get over shadowed or become uber. |
