level adjustment buy off. [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-05-05, 08:36 PM I read through the level adjustment buy off a few times and I didn't fully understand it.

What I need to know is how much Xp I would have to buy the one level adjustment off the goliath, I'm making a slightly higher level character then the buy off point, so I'm just deducting the xp cost, but I was having trouble figuring it out.

Help please.

04-05-05, 10:17 PM Goliath has LA +1. According to the LA buyoff rules, when you reach your 3rd class level, you pay 3000 XP in order to remove the LA. This would push you back to 2nd level, most likely :)
