I find Nature aspect druid varient weaker than wildshape. For one it only lasts for 1 min per druid level, opposed to 1/hours druid level for wildshape. And there is not very many choices, so I have a few ideas for new ones.

My first fix is to increase the duration. I'm thinking of making it 10min/druid level, with no other changes.
OR
1hour/druid level, but the bonuses tha are granted from the aspects are enhancement bonues, instead of non named bonues. This would mean you get a nice good stuff for a long time, but it will prevent abuse as it wont stack with spells and so on.

I have a few ideas for new aspects, since I feel ther should be more. Here are my ideas.

Natures Endurance: You receive a +4 bonus on checks agaisnt heat and cold weather, lava, severe winds, and smoke dangers. You also treat falls as if they where 30ft lower. These bonses only apply to nature, not spells effects and so on.

Rend: You gain the rend ability. A druid that hits the same opponent with two claw attacks in the same round rends its foe, which deals extra damage equal to 2d6 + 1-1/2 times its Str modifier. Druid Level 8. You must have some claw attack for this to work.

Nimble: Gain +10 bonus on jump checks and balance ckecks. You also have a a climb speed equal to your land speed.

Rhino's Hide: You gain natural armor bonus +4 and DR 4/-. Druid Level 8.

Nature's Health: You gain regeneration 1, plus an additional 1 point for every five druid levels above 5 (max bonus of 4 at 20th level). You take normal damage from Cold iron weapons plus one other of your choice from the following list: Fire, cold, acid, or electricity. Druid Level 10.

Camouflage: +10 bonus to hide checks. Thats all I can think of for this one, there should be more to make it worthwhile. But I dont know what to add.

So what do you guys think? Cool, dumb? Any other aspects you have made? Should some be toned down? My duration fix balanced?

They seem fine, but I can't answer very well since I don't intend on playing with the aspect of nature varient. I enjoy wildshape. ::shrug::

I like wilshape too, I also like the aspect alot, thats why I'm having both in my campaign. You pick at character creation what you want to use, wildshape or aspect. So i'm trying to make aspect of nature more intresting and comparible to wildshape.

Do you have any suggestions on the duration? I want to make it longer but also keep it balanced.
