Greetings everyone,

I am starting to create more paragon classes. I would like some input on this...

Dwarves:

Hill Dwarf, Mountain Dwarf ..... Standard Dwarf Paragon Class

Deep Dwarf

I'm not too sure if it needs a change here...
Should he lose light sensitivity?
If so, what should he lose? What do you suggest?

Elves:

High Elf, Gray Elf ............. Standard Elf Paragon Class

Wood Elf

Level BAB Fort Ref Will Special Spells per Day
1 +0 +0 +2 +0 Elfsight, resist enchantments, nature empathy ---
2 +1 +0 +3 +0 Weapon Focus +1 level of Ranger
3 +2 +1 +3 +1 Ability boost (Dex +2) +1 level of Ranger

Nature empathy (Ex): Wood Elf Paragon levels stack with Ranger levels to determine
how powerful a Ranger's Wild Empathy and Animal Companion are.

Wild Elf

Level BAB Fort Ref Will Special Spells per Day
1 +0 +0 +2 +0 Elfsight, resist enchantments ---
2 +1 +0 +3 +0 Weapon Focus +1 level of Sorcerer
3 +2 +1 +3 +1 Ability boost (Cha +2) +1 level of Sorcerer

Gnomes:

Rock Gnome ..................... Standard Gnome Paragon Class

Forest Gnome

I'm not sure what to do here. Any suggestions?

Half-Elves:

................................ Standard Half-Elf Paragon Class

Half-Orcs:

................................ Standard Half-Orc Paragon Class

Halflings:

Lightfoot Halfling ............. Standard Halfling Paragon Class

Tallfellow Halfling

Level BAB Fort Ref Will Special
1 +0 +0 +2 +0 Improved alertness, save bonus
2 +1 +0 +3 +0 Thrown weapon mastery
3 +2 +1 +3 +1 Ability boost (Dex +2)

Improved alertness (Ex): At 1st level, a Tallfellow Halfling Paragon racial
bonus on Listen, Search and Spot improves to +3.

Deep Halfling

Level BAB Fort Ref Will Special
1 +0 +0 +2 +0 Improved stonecunning, save bonus
2 +1 +0 +3 +0 Thrown weapon mastery
3 +2 +1 +3 +1 Ability boost (Dex +2)

Improved stonecunning (Ex): As the Dwarf Paragon's Ability

Should I include the dwarf's Craft Expertise
and Improved darkvision? What should they lose, then?
I am trying to balance it with the standard Halfling Paragon Class

Humans:

................................ Standard Human Paragon Class

So, what do the good people of these boards think? Perhaps I should wait for the new Racial Books in order to fine-tune...

Thanks in advance...

I like paragons...

Seems a bit weak compared with the standard elf... maybe you can add another chosen enemy or increase the spell progression all three levels or give some special ability that fit rangering/woodkeeping, like counting as full druid levels for the Animal Companion ability or gaining a limited wild shape ability 1/day or gaining a bonus feat for his/her combat style or some other useful trick like Lay on Hands (paragon lvl*wis bonus hp/day) or the Improved Weapon Familiarity feat (which fits well with being a "paragon" for elves)...

I agree, gbnogkfs.

You have some good ideas there... I will update the Paragon Classes shortly.

Thanks...

Anyone else would like to give their contribution? :)

my contribution is that you dont nessesarily have to make it 3 lvs, if you think it should have a little something extra then add more class levels to balance it out.

just as lose light sensitivity as a 4th lv ability for the class. i think somewhere in there they mention that LA races could have better paragon features to make up for the fact they are already penalized for their LA, so in this way prehapes just adding additional paragon levels is fair to.
