I know that multiclass spell casters track their spells separately but do they use the same recharge pool?

For instance does a wiz5/sor5 have the ability to cast a 3rd level spell off of the wiz list and the next round cast a 3rd level spell off of the sor list while the wiz list is recharging, effectively tracking recharge times with two pools?

Or do they use the same recharge pool and does the recharge time depends on what class cast the spell?

Thanks,

That's a very good question.

I'd say, track them seperately as a benefit of multiclassing. You do not gain as early access to higher level spells and (unless you are also using the Magic Rating option) your spells have a lower caster level. It's a fair trade.

It does not mean much extra book keeping. A multiclass caster is unlikely to require to keep many more clocks than a single class caster of the same class level.

That's my own oppinion, anyway. Anyone else?
