I beleive the topic says it all:

1) Half Elves "meditate" as elves
2) Cure and inflict spells have a DF component.
3) Switching your weapon from one hand to the other is a free action. (No AoO)
4) Gold weighs nothing. (As in, money you carry does not count against your weight)
5) Clerics are the best class in the game.

I think that's it...

1) Fair enough. Half-elves are often considered underpowered anyway. Such a small boost should carry no big consequences.
2) Fair enough.
3) Okay I guess. I've never ran into a situation in which a player wants to switch hand with his weapon anyway.
4) That's okay I guess, as long as you consider the space it takes (coins take space you know). It might be silly to carry around 100k worth of gold.
5) Now how does this differentiate from a normal game? ;) I get a faint reading on my sarcasm-o'-meter on this one though...

1.) I like the idea a lot
2,3,5.) sure, why not.
4.) Gold weighs SOMETHING. We're not playing final fantasy here. it's measurement isn't that big of a deal. Save up, deal with the weight, get a bag of holding. Use that as your money pouch

Only thing I see wrong is that clerics are the second best class in the game behind druids. I think druids are head and shoulder above the rest. They just get so much compared to the cleric.

In a heads up duel druid 20 vs cleric 20 would start out with 2vs1 which already isnt fair. Druid has a nasty little animal companion (dire tiger).

They have equal spells but the druid a few more damaging spells compared to the cleric.

2) Cure and inflict spells have a DF component.

What about Bards? They get cure spells but are not a divine caster [Unless you use the divine bard from UA].

I run a Dragonlance campaign. In Dragonlance, Bards can not cast Cure spells.

Druid recieves my second-most-powerful class award.

Your right. We're playing elder scrolls :D

Sounds reasonable enough.
2) Cure and inflict spells have a DF component.
Why? Just internal consistency, or is there something more to it? Otherwise, your game, your choice.
3) Switching your weapon from one hand to the other is a free action. (No AoO)
Okey-dokey.
4) Gold weighs nothing. (As in, money you carry does not count against your weight)
I can understand why you'd do this, it's unnecessary bookkeeping IMO. I usually remedy it by allowing a Bag of Holding or Handy Haversack somewhere pretty early along the line, myself.
5) Clerics are the best class in the game.
That's a matter of opinion, friend.

Okay, #1-3 are fine.

#4 is not. I just can't see PCs walking around with 100,000 gp in thier pockets.

#5 is an opinion, unless you can explain why or how it affects your game, I don't see why you would csll it a house rule.

Heh, with my players? There lucky if they ever have more then 1,000 gp at a time, the way they spend it. (Magic weapon this, magic armor that, I pay you double price if you make bracers of armor +1million, etc.) It's not much of an issue.

1) Seems fine
2) Fine, except - what do Druids use as a DF?
3) That's the way I do it too
4) For consistency, I'd say that gold has weight, but that weight doesn't increase proportionately to the amount of gold, so a huge pile of gold might weight only slightly more than a small bag of gold. Prevents stuff like using gold as a transportation system.
5) Personally, I'd say the Druids are the best class once you've mastered them, but that Clerics are a lot easier to excell as. Spontaneous curing, metal armor access, and domains make things easier when you're starting out. However, not much core stuff can trump a Druid wildshaped into a Legendary Ape, still using all their stuff, and casting spells with Natural Spell. Plus you can turn into a sparrow and fly up into a tree. Your foes will be PO'd trying to figure out where those summoned animals and flame strikes are coming from.

What would happen if you say, nerfed Clerics by taking away their medium and heavy armor proficiencies, or just heavy armor? I'm thinking about trying that as a house rule for my own campaign. I'd like to encourage Clerics to stay mobile and support the team in combat, rather than charge in himself all buffed up to beat the crap out of the bad guy right alongside the Barbarian.

A nice bank concept from one game i played in..

where we "lived" there was some kind of planar bank where you could deposit your money (or any item) safely, to identify someone they would require a drop of blood. Only you or someone of your familly could touch your bank account. The bank has small "offices" in every villages, and those offices were equiped with the same planar device to immediately place the money in the planar vault. The main office bank was present in all planes.
