Utric Aelnoth 05-04-05, 04:35 PM	It might be a repeat on an old idea (chaos knows, there's more than enough threads here to occupy one for an age), but it's sparked a question. In Libris Mortis a feat is listed called Undead Leadership which allows you to recruit the undead as followers and/or a cohort. And in Unearthed Arcana a Necromancer variant allows (via sacrifice of the ability to acquire a familiar,) a player to create/maintain a skeletal servant. Suppose a character used the variant, and hte feat. Would the resulting Undead followers and cohort count against one's limit of HD (twice your own HD) for undead under control? if not, this seems like a perfect way to recruit a significantly larger army of the dead...
LordArkan 05-04-05, 05:29 PM	Yes, you are able to have these things working together. They don't count toward your undead control limit. Do keep in mind, however, that a skeleton familiar does give the "has a familiar" penalty to your leadership score. ;)
