I'm about to start an epic game, and I was thinking of making Turn Undead slightly viable, as well as the planar turning feats very viable. Anyhow, I came up with this. Anyone see any problems I don't?

Variant: Turn Undead

Normally, the Turn Undead rules allow a cleric to turn an undead creature whose Hit Die are below the cleric’s turn level +4. This effectively makes the cleric’s turn undead ability useless by high level, save as fuel for Divine feats. It also makes feats like Planar Turning ultimately useless as epic feats.
This ability expands the cleric’s turn undead ability by expanding the chart into epic ranges. The turn check is still a charisma check (1d20 + cleric’s Charisma modifier.)

Sorry, don't know how to make tables on this thing
Turning Check Result Most Powerful Undead Affected (Maximum Hit Dice)
0 or lower Cleric’s level – 4
1 - 3 Cleric’s level – 3
4 - 6 Cleric’s level – 2
7 – 9 Cleric’s level – 1
10 - 12 Cleric’s level
13 – 15 Cleric’s level + 1
16 - 18 Cleric’s level + 2
19 - 21 Cleric’s level + 3
22 - 24 Cleric’s level + 4
25 - 27 Cleric’s level + 5

New Turning Feats

Heighten Turning [General]
You can turn more powerful undead creatures than normal.
Benefit: You can add a bonus of +4 to your Charisma check to determine the level of undead you can turn. For each +4 bonus you add, the turn check costs an additional turn attempt. You can add a bonus up to your cleric level in this fashion.
Normal: Your turn check is a simple Charisma check.

Maximize Turning [General]
You affect more hit die of undead when you turn.
Benefit: You do not roll 2d6 when turning. Instead, you merely add 12 to your cleric level and Charisma modifier to determine turn damage. Using this feat costs one additional Turn attempt.

Greater Turning [General]
You affect a greater number of hit die of undead when you turn.
Prerequisites: Turn undead as a 10th level cleric, Improved Turning
Benefit: You roll 2d8 when determining turning damage.
Normal: You roll 2d6 when determining turning damage.

Daylight’s Wrath [General]
You can channel greater positive energy on your turn attempts, causing damage to those undead you turn.
Prerequisites: Knowledge (Religion) 8 ranks, Knowledge (The Planes) 5 ranks
Benefit: Undead you successfully turn take damage equal to 1d6 for every 4 cleric levels you have. There is no saving throw for this damage. Undead destroyed by this damage turn to dust as if they had been destroyed by turning.

New Turning Items

Sacred Symbol: Sacred symbols are especially made holy symbols, created for the greatest champions of a particular church or deity. Sacred symbols grant a +4 enhancement bonus to a cleric’s turn checks and turn damage. Each sacred symbol is shaped as a holy symbol of the patron deity, and are typically made of precious materials and studded with gems that assist in the channeling of positive energy.
Moderate evocation; CL 10th; Craft Wondrous Items, Cleric level 10th; Market Price: 19,200 gp.

Libram of the Last Rites: This book of holy prayers and scripture assists the cleric in battling the forces of darkness. The prayers located in this book allow the cleric to channel greater amounts of positive energy. A cleric who turns undead while reading from this book (effectively making the turn attempt a full round action) is treated as if he had the Maximize Turning feat, except the turn attempt does not cost him any more uses of his turn undead attempts per day.
Moderate evocation; CL 12th; Craft Wondrous Items, creator must have the Maximize Turning Feat; Market Price: 16,800 gp.

Well, you can assume that anything that can be logically flipped around for Rebuking works as such.
