I was thinking... in the classic use of AP. I thought (heavily based on d20 modern) I could give a couple of more uses to AP. I run a point buy based campaign (25 points), and so encounters can get difficult from time to time. The plain based system of the AP is cool, but I thought I could ALSO:

a.)Spend AP to give a class ability from one character to the other. The "giver" spends 2 AP and the "receiver" spends 1 AP. The ability lasts for 1 round.

b.)Use Invocations. Instead of paying XP (wich is a drag) or gold (wich isn't that easy to find), they pay AP. Depending on the Invocations, some as described in the UA and some homebrewn (since some of them are a BIT savage) they pay more AP, and MORE characters have to pay.

I forgot some uses I had, but I'd like to hear opinions or maybe own ideas.

PS: Second level will be reached in three sessions, third in four, fourth in five, etc. I plan it to be a long campaing.

Idunno about the class feature transfer thingy. It seems kind of difficult to balance. Depending on the class feature transfered, it could either be way too powerful or way too weak for the cost. But if it works, keep it. Just make sure you're clear about whether spells count as class features.

I remember reading somewhere other than UA that you could use an action point to gain access to a feat that you met the prerequisites for but didn't actually have for 1 round. Like if you had Dodge and Mobility, you could spend an action point to do a single Spring Attack.

Here's one. Spend an action point when using Psionic Weapon, Psionic Fist, Psionic Shot, Greater Psionic Weapon, Greater Psionic Fist, or Greater Psionic Shot to roll d8s instead of d6s.

Well, I have a houserule that allows them to burn an action point to reroll a 1, but they have to keep the new result.
