optional rules [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-28-07, 03:18 PM i was using the optional rules that remove a paladins spell casting capabilities in my last campaign. for some reason i can not seem to find what book these rules are in can anyone help??:confused:

Im curious why you feel this way. I have yet to purchase the book cause from my knowledge nothing in it seemed worthy of forking out the cash but if "Holy Warrior" implies what I think it does I will pick that one up next time I am at my local bookstore.

10-29-07, 12:42 PM i generally play lower level games, not starting at 20. This variant palidin gets special palidin bonus feats instead of interesting, but usless abilities. The bonus feats also come into play earlier. 4.8.11.14 instead.

the one in complete warrior gets a couple of cool abilities, and the one at 16th level is very handy, but the rest are ok at best. I would rather not wait till 16th level to get something cool when instead i can grab 4 feats by 14th level.
