MasterOfPsychic 05-08-06, 01:11 PM	I guess the most logical kobold "paragon" "class" (notice the "'s) would be Half-Dragon... In a broader sense speaking, include Dragon Diciple.. But 'cept for that, you could just make one... And make it a litlle overpowered to counter the fact that kobolds suck... Just take the Half-Dragon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/races/racialParagonClasses.htm#halfDragonParag on) one, maybe reduce HD to 8 and BaB to 3/4ths, 6+ int skills, new class skills, and exchange their Breath Weapon 3/day with dex or cha +2... Woiala, we have the kobold one... I'll be back with my opinions on the goblinoid after I've cleaned up a little... I guess using the Orc as a basic is a good idea...
runestar 05-08-06, 01:25 PM	The kobold paragon class is available for free viewing as a web enhancement on the wotc website. :) 3/4 bab, 4+int mod skills, +2cha, +2sorc spellcasting over 3 lvs...some misc goodies... Don't miss out the new kobold rites while you are at it, the new one gives you +1lv of sorc spellcasting...now you gain higher lv spells at the same rate as a wizard of the same lv... :eek:

My dog is about a foot tall and weighs 22 lbs. By your math she would be the fattest dog in the world.(which she isn't :) )

Let's just do the math here... 2' tall and 35 lbs... multiply by 3 in all directions to get 6' tall... volume is cubed, so multiply 35 lbs by 27 to get equal weight... 945 lbs... I mean, a halfling is 3' tall and 30 lbs... which is a little on the heavy side... but imagine someone 2/3 as tall as you that weighs more than you. I know you could account for some of it because of their tail and natural armor (thicker skin and scales)...but that's a heck of a weight for that...
JulesCARV 05-08-06, 08:39 PM	Look at a picture of a kobold (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/MM35_gallery/MM35_PG161b.jpg): somewhat bent forward -- counterbalanced by their tail -- and have bent knees and ankles. If you stretched the kobold out so that its knees, ankles, and torso were all aligned in a line, like a normal, upright human or halfling, then it'd probably be taller. Of course, that could just be the pose of that individual kobold, but the tail and all that would make a more stooped-over position for a kobold more balanced.
