The racial paragon classes are neat, but does anybody have examples of build progressions that are definitively improved by the addition of 1 or more levels of a racial paragon class?

A human paragon, specialist wizard only loses one level of spellcasting ability, but gains some nifty benefits:

1. The ability to take Use Magic Device as a class skill for all levels. Now you can cast spells from wands and scrolls from your prohibited schools.

2. The ability to sneak in (at least 5 ranks of) Tumble. Now you get more AC when fighting defensively and can also move out of that threatened area so you can cast without getting hit (if you have to take more than a 5-foot step).

3. 3 levels of d8 hitpoints - that's practically 3 extra levels of hit points in a way!

4. An extra attack by level 20, just in case you wanted it. (BAB goes to +11)

5. Access to other skills you wouldn't normally get without having to cross class.

6. You lose a wizard bonus feat, but you replace it (probably early on) with a feat that can be anything. Nice.

7. Extra weapon proficiencies and even armor proficiency if you are feeling crazy. Choose one martial weapon you want to be proficient with. (A longbow might be appropriate for a wizard, since it is ranged. Or, you can make like Gandalf and pick the greatsword. Heh.)

8. And don't forget the +2 to any stat.

Yep... I think you get quite a bit from diluting a wizard with human paragon. But that just might be me.

Now... don't get me started about how a halfling paragon helps the thrower build!

Ditto (similar) what he said for wizards, with the elf paragon. -1 caster level, but d8 hp, +1 BAB, +2 INT, free weapon Focus with sword or bow, and enhanced elven traits (lowlight sight and elven skill bonuses). Having Weapon Focus qualifies you for some other feats and PrCs normally excluding Wizards (Sanctify Martial Strike, for example).

Anything drow caster +1 level of drow paragon gets no loss of caster level, *and* an extra daily use of all innate abilities. Don't know what that might qualify you for, though...

A Human (or Elf) Paragon 3/Wizard 17 still has a BAB of +10. +2 from Paragon, +8 from Wizard.

Both of those paragons are great for fighter/wizards as well:

Elf Paragon 3/Wizard 2/Fighter 1/Spellsword 1/Bladesinger 9/Eldritch Knight 4:

BAB +18
HD: 8+2d8+2d4+1d10+1d8+9d8+4d6 = on average 86 Hit Points
Saves: F/R/W +12/+10/+13
Caster Level: 13th level Wizard (7th level spells)
Can cast in any light armor (i.e. Mithral BP), up to a +9 dodge bonus to AC for High Int, +2 to Int, and +5 to other ability scores. With access to Arcane Strike and coupled with Whirlwind Attack, the character can be deadly to a lot of foes within 5' of him.

or

Human Paragon 3/Sorcerer 2/Paladin 2/Spellsword 4/Eldritch Knight 9:

BAB: +18
HD: 8+2d8+2d4+2d10+4d8+9d6 = on average 82 Hit Points
Caster Level: 14 (7th level spells)
Saves: F/R/W +14/+4/+13 (and Cha bonus from Divine Grace)
Ignore Arcane Failure 15% (Mithral BP again), Channel Spell 3/day, +7 to any ability score (Cha would be optimal), and Tumble as a class skill for all classes from Human Paragon.
