Hey All,

Are Paragon classes prestige classes or just base classes? If they are PrC's where are the requirements for them listed?

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

They're both. They're prestige classes in that they don't count towards multiclass penalties, and are less than 20 levels. They're base classes in that you can take them anytime, even at first level.

For several though, if your gonna be a caster you should start as a caster or you'll miss out on some of the abilities.

If you want to talk about maximizing your advantages, since none of them start off with bonus caster levels but all of them have better skill points than full casters, I would say start off taking one level in paragon, then one level in your caster class, then the remaining two levels in paragon, then back to caster.

Or however many gets you your spells

Here's a simple way to look at them:
They're prestige classes, with a single prerequisite. You must be a member of Race X.
